I am originally from Latina, Italy, but I currently live and work in Tampere, Finland.

Although I studied Economics (MSc), my passion has always been creating with my hands. After working for ten years in a multinational company in Rome, I moved to Tampere and began dedicating myself more systematically to my artistic practice, which had started in Italy as a personal interest.

​

I began painting with oils in 2004 and, from 2009 onwards, I focused primarily on clay modelling. I attended courses in Italy, Brussels and lately in Switzerland and in Tampere I further developed my skills through studies in bronze casting and jewellery making.

 

In recent years, my work has evolved into a dialogue between ceramics and metals, combining the qualities, textures, and possibilities of both materials.

One of my favourite ceramic firing technique is Raku, mainly because it emphasises the unique look of each piece...but also because you can see the results right away :D!
